Mafia Wars Character Choices
One of the first choices that you are going to make after naming your character is what type of Mafia Wars character you want to be. Don’t take this lightly as there is no going back. Mafia Wars offers 3 choices for character: Mogule, Maniac, and Fearless.
As you will see in the guides that I am offering, each type of character will have different strategies. Follow the instructions to the “t” for the type of Mafia Wars character that you choose. The biggest mistake most people make is choosing the wrong character. I am not saying that once you choose a certain character, that you will never attain the highest level. Mogul
The Mogul is the cash flow king guy. Moguls gets cash every 54 minutes rather than every hour like the other characters. Additionally, the Mogul the only character that can take on the job of a Bagman who has the chance to earn twice as much money from performing jobs. Sounds great, right? Think again. Passive income from real estate investments is much more lucrative. A Bagman is basically a blue-collar job guy. I find the Bagman character type very boring and never truly wealthy. A decent Bagman is a good person to have around to do jobs in your mafia family. It’s just not a job that I would take.
Maniac
The Maniac character energy regenerates 1 unit of energy every 3 minutes rather than every 5. Maniacs are are entitled to be a Button Man which gives you the power to automatically win all fights that you initiate. Since energy drives a lot of your leveling, you may think that this is the best character. All the guides that I am reviewing go into great detail about character selection and why you should choose a certain type.
Fearless
Fearless characters are the health re-generators. Another great benefit of the fearless character is the ability to be a Top Mafia Wheel Man which in many top players opinions has the best special ability. Only a Fearless character can be promoted to a Wheelman.
Whenever you perform a job as Fearless character, there is a small chance that job will cost no energy. At higher levels jobs often cost as much as 60 energy to run, this is a highly coveted bonus and will increase the speed at which you level. I don’t get too excited about the the health regeneration bonus since you have the ability to lay low at a hospital to top off at any time that feel the need. You don’t have to be sick to check in!
If you start studying other top Mafia wars players on Facebook, you will notice that most of are Fearless Characters. If you want to level up quickly, choose the Fearless character.
