About Tower Defense Games

Tower Defence, or TD is a genre of strategy computer game. The goal is to try to stop enemies, called “creeps” in some games, from crossing the map by building defence towers which shoot at them as they pass. Creeps and towers usually have varied abilities and costs. Defence! Defense! When you defeat an enemy the player earns money or points, which are used to buy or upgrade towers. In tower defense games, the choice and positioning of the towers is the essential strategy.

Creeps usually run through a “maze”, which allows the player to strategically place towers, but there are also known versions of the game which have straight lines.. And you will find out that these games are very addictive, before you know it you are playing an hour straight, its really fun. Cmon, try it! Give it a try!

Game Variations

There are many different options in these games that make each game original. For example, in most versions, tower is upgraded, its range, rate, and power increases. However, in “Onslaught Defence”, each attribute is upgraded separately. Also, in some types of of tower defence games, the enemy can fight back. There are even games where you play as the creeps, u must bypass the enemy turrets and towers. In some tower defense games you play the Creeps, you have to make your way bypassing the defense of your opponent.
